Use a Stable Stand
Start with a sturdy tree stand that can support your tree without tipping and holds plenty of water—about 1 liter (1 quart) per inch of trunk diameter.
Prepare the Space
Clear an area wide enough for your tree’s full diameter and keep it away from heat sources like heaters or direct sunlight.
Fresh Cut for Water Uptake
All trees receive a fresh cut before delivery, whether ordered with or without a stand. If your tree has been out of water for over 4 hours, make a fresh ½-inch cut from the trunk base to help it absorb water.
Secure & Water Immediately
Position the tree upright in the stand, ensure it’s stable, and add water right away. Water temperature doesn’t matter, and no additives are needed.
Monitor Water Daily
Your tree will absorb a large amount of water at first. Check and refill the stand regularly to keep the base submerged and your tree fresh.
